For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the art of taking something people already know and love and giving it a fresh visual twist.
That passion eventually became a career.
For more than 15 years, I’ve been creating designs inspired by television shows, movies, music, nostalgia, and the countless pieces of pop culture that have become part of our lives. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of turning a familiar character, scene, quote, or cultural moment into something visually exciting. Something that makes you stop scrolling and say, “Wow, I want that.”
That’s what Pop Culture Designs is all about.
Finally, A Place of My Own
Over the years, I’ve shared and sold my work through various online marketplaces. Those platforms have given me an opportunity to reach people all over the world, but there was always something missing: a place that was truly my own.
Pop Culture Designs is that place.
Instead of having my work scattered across different marketplaces, I wanted to create a home where I could showcase my designs, experiment with new ideas, revisit some of my favorite pop culture moments, and share the creative process behind the work.
This website is more than just a store. It’s a collection of the things I love to create.
Why Pop Culture?
Because pop culture connects us.
A television show can remind you of being a kid. A movie can take you back to a particular moment in your life. A character can become an icon. A song, catchphrase, or scene can instantly bring back memories you haven't thought about in years.
That emotional connection is what makes designing around pop culture so much fun.
I love taking those familiar references and approaching them from a designer's perspective. Playing with typography, composition, color, illustration, humor, nostalgia, and visual storytelling to create something that feels fresh.
Sometimes the design is bold.
Sometimes it's funny.
Sometimes it's nostalgic.
And sometimes it's simply something that looks incredibly cool.
But there's always a story behind it.
More Than Just Designs
My background is rooted in design, and I’ve spent decades learning how to make an idea work visually.
That experience has shaped the way I approach every project. I’m not interested in simply putting a character or logo on a product and calling it a design. I want to create artwork that feels intentional.
Something you'd actually want to hang on your wall.
Wear on a shirt.
Put on your desk.
Give to another fan.
Or simply look at and smile because you immediately know the reference.
That's the standard I'm always chasing.
